No More Exams and Hello Holidays

So I've managed to finish my exams and I've come back in one piece. And I'm happy to say that I have no idea what my results were and now I'm finally starting to not care. This has been one productive year, finishing year 12 art, learning how to teach piano, performing for my school, exams and joining deviant art. Now I just have to face the final year of school, hope I don't die of overwork.^^ oh yeah, I have holiday homework once more and you know what? I'm seriously contemplating stuffing it in a hole.
Anyways, here are some artworks that I would like to feature for this journal entry.

I see that you guys seem to be enjoying my portrait of BAP's Daehyun– probably also since I haven't posted anything in a while. Did you enjoy my WIP as well? coz I have to admit I enjoyed it and it continues to hypnotise me. haha.^^ just a tip if you're interested in my technique, try looking at just one section as the drawing is constructed like the eyes, mouth or holes in the shirt .
So goodbye for now and enjoy my second final for year 12 art.

Food Photos.

There are some things in this world that are just truly hideous but food photos are not one of them. However, I am not convinced whether this makes them a form of art. Seriously, why would anyone care about the delicious things that we eat? What on Earth can the meaning behind the photo of a cake be? Is there some astoundingly profound concept or special emotion that you are conveying which I don't understand? If your portraying hunger than maybe but that's still debatable.

The only other thing I can think of is IF the meaning of art is "the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form […] to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power," then yes food photos are a thing of beauty. But I only seem to agree with the beginning of the definition of just being an, "expression or application of human creative skill and imagination , typically in a visual form." Anyways, feel free to express your opinions guys coz seriously i want answers.^^

Hey Guys!..... ^^

hi. haven't done much in a while but how can i say this..... Well for some time since the holidays (which pretty much didn't exist since i spent it doing schoolwork) i've been in an extremely busy state which has rendered me unable to post any art. funnily enough i have been doing a lot of art though. You see, for year 12 Art i have been trying my best to get the best grades as possible but since the education system hates kids, all the deadlines for artsy subjects were moved forward. I ended up with a week to do a final practical piece and another week to do 30 A3 pages of art! Because of this i created so much hideous work and had no time to scan the good ones so...... um.... you won't see any of it (until maybe next year if the education moderators send back my stuff). Anyways, i won't be posting anything for maybe..... 5 or 6 weeks (after exams).
so while i hope you guys out there had fun while i was suffering.^^ Here are some art i would like to feature
